West Coast Insurance. Insurance License # 0D94526, as it apears on their ads in the Penny Saver and El Clasificado in Spanish. Their Phone numbers, as seen in their ads, 1 (800) 349-5900 and 562-693-2414.
This company has been in the insurance Business for a wile, If you look them up on line, They have more than a few offices. They have many insurance sales "agents", in fact they are still hiring.
Well, to be able to sell any insurance policy here in California, every single person, who does that needs to have an active insurance license. If you check West Coast Insurance license with the California department of Insurance you will se their license is "inactive". Not a single one of West Coast Insurance "Agents" has an insurance License.
Selling Insurance without a license in California is a misdemeanor.
Now my question to the California Department of Insurance. How can an agency like West Coast Insurance have all these offices in California and not a single license insurance agent and stay in business?
Is everybody reading this surpriced! This is very common in Los Angeles, many, namy and I mean many Agencies hire unlicensed "agents" to sell Insurance.
The California Department of Insurance regulates this agencies. But as far as a can tell, there is not much done about these agencies.
Do you remenber the time when Chuck Quackenbush was the Department of Insurance Commisioner .

ITS SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUE. IF YOU HAD A BAD
EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD MAYBE TALK TO THE MANAGER OF THAT PARTICULAR OFFICE INSTEAD OF POSTING FALSE INFORMATION ONLINE. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE POSTING INFORMATION BECAUSE YOU CAN CAUSE MORE HARM THAN GOOD. ALL AGENTS AT WEST COAST INSURANCE ARE LICENSED. MAYBE YOU LOOKED AT AN EXPIRED LICENSE BUT A LICENSE CAN BE RENEWED SO NEXT TIME MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK. POST FACTS NOT ASSUMPTIONS. HAVE A GREAT DAY.

My Husband works for Westcoast and he has a valid license # and so does his employee. You should get your facts right before you send this info to the public. Also maybe think about spell check next time.

wow Maria you could not be more wrong. The agents have their licenses hanging right on the wall of their cubicles. I helped them out in their office for 2 months and my friend has been working for them for years, she took a test to get her license, as did all the others.
