During construction in March of 2017, without my consent whatsoever, Mr. West's graders, on multiple occasions, encroached on my property over the vast majority of the property line. In the worst area, he cut into my property ~10’ laterally with a ~14’, sheer cliff where I had planned to build a detached garage and had an approved building permit. After multiple assurances that the problem would be addressed, neither Mr. West nor any other party to the encroachment has corrected the problem. Consequently, I have had to file a lawsuit in Forsyth County, case number 18SC-0449-A against West Family Homes, the owner of the property and the two graders involved. I intend to prosecute this matter to the fullest extent of the law. Basis of entity: Base on the on-line records in the Georgia Corporations Division, Mr. Steve West has operated his business under the following business names: Steven West Custom Homes, Inc; dissolved 8/31/2012; Filed for bankruptcy on January 31, 2011; case 11-53077. Steven West Luxury Homes, LLC, dissolved 2/16/2016. Steven West-R.E. Black Custom Homes, dissolved 7/9/2005. West Family Home, LLC; active. Steven West Custom Homes, Inc. was administratively dissolved on 8/31/2012. A different entity, West Family Homes, LLC, was formed on 2/15/2012 listing an address the same Google Maps location with the same registered agent name. This entity, West Family Homes, LLC, is the builder shown on the residential permit for a new home construction beside my property on Lake Lanier.

The following is an update to the previous review:
West Family Homes, LLC is listed as the “builder” on the building permit for a residential construction project taking place immediately adjacent to my property. In March of 2017 and on subsequent dates, without my consent, Mr. West's graders encroached on my property over the vast majority of the property line. In the worst area, he cut into my property ~10’ laterally with a ~14’, sheer cliff where I had planned to build a detached garage with an approved building permit. As of 10/3/2018, neither Mr. West nor any other party to the encroachment has corrected the problem. I have filed a lawsuit in Forsyth County, case number 18SC-0449-A, against West Family Homes, LLC, the owner of the property and the two graders involved. As of 10/3/2018, this lawsuit is still active.
Basis of entity: I reviewed the on-line records in the Georgia Corporations Division, and concluded that Mr. West has operated his business under at least the following business names: Steven West Custom Homes, Inc. (the name listed on Google Maps for this business) and West Family Homes, LLC.
Steven West Custom Homes, Inc. filed for bankruptcy on January 31, 2011 (case 11-53077) and was administratively dissolved on 8/31/2012. Steven West Custom Homes, Inc. lists the Registered Agent Name as Steven West and the Principal Office Address does not match the Google Maps address for the business.
West Family Homes, LLC appears to be active as of the date of this review. West Family Homes, LLC lists the Registered Agent Name as Steve West and the Principal Office Address matches the Google Maps address for the business.
Although I believe the above information to be accurate, if any aspect of this review is inaccurate, then I respectfully request that Mr. West contact me by email and I will immediately modify the review accordingly.
