I bought a car from Westbrook Car Care in June of 2007 i inquired about a 2000 Ford Focus they had on the front line it was clean inside appeared to be in good condition on the outside how ever we started it and it had a small vibration the gentleman we dealt with stated that the vibration would go away that it had been sitting and just needed to be run a few miles and it would come out of it!!! I went in the office with them i used my stimulus check to pay the down payment it literally took 20 minutes for them to do the paperwork!
Then they put the temp plates on and handed me the keys!!
This car is a deathtrap i have had several instances where this car has left me stranded or nearly killed because it stalls out right in the middle of an intersection it just dies this car should have never been sold there are several reports that this car was not rightly made from the factory and was recalled for safety issues! I am paying a large payment for this car and i am afraid it is going to take my life or someone elses on the road because of the issues with it i want the company to take the car back and let me out of there scam!!!!!

It went from Bangor/Lewiston/Westbrook Car Care to BumperToBumper.com to MyMaineRide.com. This is alot of names for one business. The Westrbook store is long gone, Lewiston closed for a time but is now back.
Buyer beware, these crooks dont and WON'T seem to go away!

I marvel at people who buy "used" cars and expect them ot run perfect. Used means just that, used.
I agree an UNSAFE car shoudl never have a Maine inspection sticker, but whatever you do DON'T buy a used car and expect it to run 100 new.
Also, the onwers name im Glen, not Scott.
