Exprescash, Westbury Ventures This company withdrew $380 from my account wih no authorization Henderson Nevada

Westbury Ventures ("Exprescash" as it appeared on my bank statement) received my banking information from an application for a cash advance I had placed online in the middle of May 2007. On may 18, 2007, without having received a cash advance, they withdrew $380 from my account.

After doing an internet search -- which produced only results of fraud reports, etc. - no real website -- I located a number for Westbury Ventures and spoke to someone by the name of Princeton Harris. He said I had taken out a payday loan with an affiliated company in 2004 and that I was delinquent. The company never produced any documentation of this debt even after asking via phone AND notarized request via fax.

Either way, this company had no permission to withdrawal funds from mny current bank account on a loan that I had already paid for twice over!

I have contacted the FTC, my bank and am in the process of contacting the Attorney General of the state of Kansas (where my current bank is located).

The approach this company takes to collect an alleged debt is fraudulent under all consumer protection law.

Fortunately I work with several attorneys and we plan on bringing this company down if they refuse to return the unauthorized withdrawal of money.

I have even agreed to fulfill any debt obligation that they can prove -- but in a formal and legal way -- I will not allow this type of guerilla debt collection to occur. I don't think Princeton Harris realizes who he is up against.
