Western Culinary Institute broken promisses, Too much money for the quality they provided, lack of equipment and training Portland Oregon

I was promised a full spectrum of culinary education with hands on experience, and a wide range of opportunities after graduation. Some classes lived up to the reputation, however some classes left students including myself without equipment, I sometimes did not get enough food to work with, and sometimes I felt the hands-on experience wasn't enough.

I tried to get a job after I graduate on my own and was told they would hire me at minimum wage and not as a chef even though I went through this program and had prior restaurant experiences. I then went through the so-called career program and the jobs they provided did not live up to any one's expectations. In fact everything that they did I did on my own. The service was a joke.

Now I am left with a potential $900 a month bill, and a non-cooking job. I can't afford anything, on the verge of bankruptcy and still stuck with this school bill from an education that was mediocre.

If I knew what I know now, I wouldn't have moved to Oregon. I was under the impression that this was a top notch school, one of the best, and that is why I chose this school; however, I am now left with a sense of disappointment and a life time large bill, which I know I can't afford. It is either this bill or having a place to live and reliable transportation. Personally I choose the latter.
