We were booked in the country hearth inns and suites in Williamsburg, va upon arrival we discovered that the condition of the hotel was not how it was communicated to us on the phone. The hotel was clearly being renovated and we called immediately and asked to be placed elsewhere but were told that nothing else was available. The outer appearance of the hotel was old, unwelcoming, and deserted.

When we went to bed that night we we were awakened by bed bugs, my husband was actually bite by them and had to be taken to the emergency room. On top of this they-Hotels corp stated that in order to get the bush gardens tickets offered in the promotion that we had to go through with the Westgate timeshare presentation.

We went to Westgate and explained everything to them, do you know that they still tried to get us to purchase a property and still took us around to view the property all the while we were saying, we don't want it, we are not going to buy it based on what we have been through and the fact that they were not sympathetic at all. Westgate seems to be only concernced with making a buck regardless of how they treat people in the process.This was the worst experience ever and I will not use their services again and I will make sure that anyone I am in contact with does the same.

We also contacted the health inspector who went by to view the hotel's condition and and a lawyer but this particular lawyer felt it was too costly to pursue. If there are any lawyers out there who can help feel free to contact me. I feel that we should be reimbursed for the one night that we did stay at the hotel (hotelscorp refused to reimburse) we still have the dead bed bug that I squished on the matress after I brushed him off my husband's arm, the doctor said that he had 4 to 5 bites on him and he had to get medication for the itching, not to mention that we had to launder everything that was in the that room that night, clothes etc.
