Westgate Lakes Timeshare Westgate Resorts Rip-off and Scam Orlando Florida

I originally purchased this timeshare years ago in order to give my family a vacation every year. Due to time constraints I wasn't able to use it that much but I kept up with the payments and maintenance fees every year.

I tried selling it a couple times and just found more scams and people asking fior money upfront for advertising fees, marketing fees, etc. I even made the mistake of giving one comppany $400 to sell it and never heard from them again.

Seller be aware!

I recently was contacted again by a company called Everst Group. They told me there were no upfront fees and even sent me a contract.....Just before signing I was told that there was a fee of 3,800 that I would receive back once the deal went through.  What the heck? They tried to slip that in last minute. I'm sure if I were to sign they would have threatened me with a lawsuit. i plan to write another re[port about this company.

There's no way to get rid of this thing.

Well last year I acquired some money and paid off my timeshare because I was sick of the payments. It has been 14 months and I still haven't received the title. I have called numerous times and get the same runaround, we will mail it to you. I just got off the phone with them again and was told it was mailed last December.

Anyways, now the kicker! I had over $1000 in maintenance fees due in January. They go up drastically every couple of weeks and I don't want to pay them, however, they are going to go to collections and show up on my credit report. Is there anyone that can help me get out of this mess? i don't use the timeshare and to pay $1000 for nothing makes me sick.
