I puchased a 55" Westinghouse "Smart TV" from Best Buy. The TV turns out to be not so smart as it doesn't remember my wifi password and I have to re-enter it each time I want to use the TV.

After dealing with Westinghouse customer service over the phone, I'm told the TV is defective and has to be returned. By now, the store won't accept it back because they only accept returns up to 2 weeks. So now I have to ship it to Westinghouse at my expense.

And??

AUTHOR: Tyg - (USA)

And WHERE is the ripoff?? Since YOU provide ZERO information to back ANY of your claims. No time frame on the purchase of the TV. How long have YOU had it. Did you have an extended warrenty?? Its quite common for ANY manufacturer to demand that YOU pay the shipping costs, especially if its out of warrenty or outside of the return dates from a retail purchase. So without more information YOUR post reads WAA!WAA!!! THEY want me to pay and I THINK its unfair!! WAA! WAA! If its a smart TV did YOU update it?? It could just need a software update to fix YOUR issue. Or YOU could switch YOUR wifi password to a numeric string of numbers so its easy to enter on your remote.
