Mr. Malla has yet another lawsuit pending against him. He now owns and operates under Westside Market off of Ellsworth Industrial Blvd. BUYERS BEWARE! The owners are NOT honest people. I had the displeasure of doing advertising business with the owners Abe Malla and Nohad Arslan of World of Rugs. After the contract was signed with World of Rugs, we ran the agreed upon Ads for World of Rugs. World of Rugs initially stayed true to the agreement. Then for whatever reason, World of Rugs stopped paying the bills, gave excuse after excuse, and then altogether stopped returning any calls. After repeatedly trying to contact and leaving messages for Mr. Arslan and Mr.

Malla, I finally talked to Mr. Malla. He was very arrogant and said they were not going to pay and to “Do what you need to do.” I talked to several other advertisers and found out that this was the modus of operandi of World of Rugs and that this had occurred many times with Mr. Malla with other advertisers. I did some checking with the state found that Mr. Malla has several different registered companies. The State of Georgia corporate web sight lists Abe Malla CEO and Dwight Lewis CFO of World of Rugs http://corp.sos.state.ga.us/corp/soskb/Corp.asp?141845 By searching Fulton County court records Case # 2003CV71589, Mr. Malla changed his name from Abdulrazak Mahmoud Almalla

to Abe Abboud Malla. The court lists several AKA’s and alias’s as Abdul, Mahmoud, Abdulrazak, Abe, Abdulraza Almalla, Abdulrazak malla, Abdurayzzak M Malla, Abdu M Malla, Abe Abbou Malla, Abdulrazak M Almalla, etc. There are a lot of court cases that hit with his name attached. THESE ARE ALL PUBLIC RECORDS. These are horrible people to do business with and support. BUYER BEWARE! General Electric claims default and failure to pay $2,973,500. The building is no longer owned by Mr. Malla as county documents show another entity owning it. He lost it. FULTON COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT Another new case 6/29/2017 12) CIVIL ACTION CASE # 2016CV272630 IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF FULTON COUNTY STATE OF GEORGIA MARKETING AND SALES MANAGEMENT CORP. VS.

WESTSIDE FOUNDRY CORPORATION WORLD OF RUGS, INC. (Mr. Malla’s companies) Failure to Pay Suing for $8800 They also have many complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau. There are twelve cases that I found where they were sued. How many people did they rip off that did not sue them? As customers and business people, we should not support or condone these types of people ‘doing business as usual’. Report all abuses to the Better Business Bureau. I will list this with Clark Howard and other Blogs/websights.

Rebuttal to Defamatory Allegations

AUTHOR: Abe - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Rebuttal to Defamatory Allegations Regarding Abe Malla and Westside Market

The online post circulating against me, Abe Malla, contains a series of misleading, inaccurate, and defamatory claims. I want to directly address the false narrative being spread and offer the facts in response.

1. Lawsuit Misrepresentation

While my name appears in a number of business-related legal filings—like many entrepreneurs managing multiple companies over two decades—it is important to note:

  • None of these cases resulted in a finding of fraud, theft, or personal liability against me.

  • Many were routine contractual disputes, settlements, or claims that were dismissed.

  • These matters span back over 20 years and are being misused here to paint a distorted picture.

2. Name Change and Business Operations

It is true that I legally changed my name from Abdulrazak Mahmoud Almalla to Abe Abboud Malla—a decision made years ago for personal and professional consistency, and fully disclosed through proper court procedures. Alleging that the use of alternative name spellings is somehow deceptive is both false and inflammatory.

3. Westside Market Business Model

Westside Market, which I currently own and operate, is a consignment-based home furnishings marketplace with over 800 active vendors. We do not operate as a traditional retail model. We provide space and services for independent vendors to sell their products, and we have a long-standing record of paying our partners on time and in accordance with agreed-upon terms.

There are no outside investors or hidden loans, as falsely claimed. Our financial operations are transparent, and our vendor relationships are based on mutual respect and accountability.

4. False Accusations from a Past Business Dispute

The author of the complaint references an advertising relationship from well over a decade ago related to a different business entity, World of Rugs. While I regret any unresolved disputes from that time, the allegations are grossly exaggerated, mischaracterized, and fail to acknowledge any contractual complexity or third-party involvement. This person has chosen to retaliate publicly rather than pursue proper resolution channels.

5. Pattern of Harassment and Speculation

The suggestion that my divorce, name change, or former associates are evidence of wrongdoing is a highly personal and baseless attack. There is no evidence to support the claim that I—or my businesses—engage in fraudulent behavior. This content seems driven by personal vendettas or competitive hostility.

6. Efforts to Resolve

I have attempted to contact the operators of the website hosting this post, but have received no response. The site appears to be hosted outside of the U.S. and does not follow proper due process in verifying or updating false information.

In Closing

I remain committed to running my businesses ethically and transparently. I take my reputation and relationships with vendors, customers, and the community very seriously. Anyone who wishes to review actual records or speak with me directly is welcome to do so. I will continue to pursue all appropriate legal and digital channels to have this defamatory content removed or corrected.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to set the record straight.
