Westwood College - ALTA COLLEGES ripoff Annandale, Virginia

Westwood College is similar to second chance credit cards. They enroll students with a used car selling approach; have them sign loan papers at a charge of $600 per credit hour, (More than most universities in the DC area charge.)

The program is an *unaccredited Bachelor of Science degree. The course work is not suitable for transfer credit to any college in America. The education is poor, the instructors inconsiderate and callus to the students' future. The administrators are in line with a used car sells manager.

The students are then forced to take math and science classes that they are unprepared for. Then the instructors of these classes boast about failing the students. Many fail classes and they are still obligated to pay a loan or retake the course at additional charges.

Their recipe for education is cloudy and undefined. The entire school system and its corporation should be closed. They are involved in many lawsuits across America.
It is a shame they claim diversity; yet they rob the students at the bottom of the economic ladder.

I have been an instructor at this school for three terms, and they have decided not to pay my final check. I am in the process of suing this college for my final pay.

Do your research at other schools; they have no ethics. Learn about accreditation, credit transfer, student loans and college tuition rates. They are not your friends.

* They have applied for accreditation through ACCTS; ACCTS, located in Northern Virginia is involved mostly in accrediting beauty schools, bar tending schools and any other bottom tier education organizations. ACCTS acknowledges that their course work is non-transferable.
