Westwood College Owes me money, Internet

This is the way this college works. They are more interested in filling their pockets with your money than they are with your success. However, because of the high price this college (I use that term loosely) I doubt the Pell Grants alone would have paid for your education (once again, term used loosely). If the documents they sent you don't add up, it is because the Financial Departments at Westwood more than likely do that on purpose to confuse you. They did the same thing to me. Numbers did not add up. TG is part of Sallie Mae. Sallie Mae has several collection agencies who work for them and they love to shuffle the loans around from one to another. Either way, if you signed a FASFA, you are responsible for those loans although you did not get the education you paid for. The way the laws are now, you have no recourse. You are stuck with repaying the loans you took out and with nothing to show for it.

You are not alone however. To date, I have counted over 978 complaints on the web regarding the fraudulent practice Westwood partakes in. They are currently being sued by the AG in Illinois, paid out $4.5 Million to the State of Colorado in fines and fees all because this college is greedy and run by corrupt people. Westwood will have nothing to do with you once they get your money. They stated that fact to me in my most recent conversation with a representative. You already paid us, we cannot help you anymore. I wish you and everyone else who is stuck with the outrageous loans for an undervalued education or graduated with a degree that is absolutely worthless. Visit other complaint boards like this one, post college reviews and write what your experience was. You may be suffering from the effects of attending this joke of a college but if we can prevent just one or more persons from attending, we are hitting them where it hurts, the wallet and will be preventing other from the same fate as we are.
