Westwood Denver North - Westwood Online I got ripped off and want justice for my troubles. Denver Colorado

I'm a handicapped person living in central California and had contacted Westwood for information on their graphic design and animation program. They buttered me up with kind words and the such. I bought into their load of crap. They said I could attend the Denver North Branch but enrollment was RIGHT NOW and I had to file all these financial aide papers and what not to see if I qualify and they never even told me the cost of the school. All of my financial aide things were done through one of their reps at the school and they told me that I would have ten years after my completion of said program before they would contact me about billling information.

Welll they lied to me and told me that I had to attend the Denver North campus in order for me to go to school. Being on Disability and changing states was going to make me take a hit to my state provided income, and they promised me living arangements as well as transportation to and from school, as well as promising me food stamps and cash assistance (from financial aide). So I moved and attended 2 months of classes (which I never had a desision as to what classes i was going to take per semester). The classes were too easy and I wasn't learning anything, on top of that they had me in a house with 3 other people that was located about 10 miles from campus and transportation wasn't gauranteed. On top of being denied food stamps and cash assistance I decided that I couldn't live like that as my money per month was only 550.00 and my rent was 400.00.

So I said I had to drop out. My director informed me then that they had a Southern california campus and online courses. Which at that point I was pissed but agreeed to just tansfere to online schooling. I moved home. My online authorization didn't come for 2 weeks and my books didn't come for 4 weeks. So again being far behind I demanded that the semester not count against me (9 week semesters and 4 weeks behind is almost impossible to catch up on). They said they were sorry but it still counted against me. I told them that I wanted to take the next semester off and they said I couldn't and that I had to repeat my three failed courses. I said no that I was done with that school.

They charged me for the next semester anyways . And some how after only 3 semesters I now owe 16,000.00 to Financial aide. On my limited income and what I was told of the payment plans was that they would only accept a minimum of 246.00 a month! I refuse to pay it because I can't afford it in the slightest. They even threatened to put a stipened oon my Social Security check, but I know legally they can't do it, when i expressed this, it upset them. And now after finding this site, I would like to join any class action law suit or anything against this school.

I want justice. They knew my poor financial situation and they still decided to scam me. They will go to no lengths for their greenbacks.

So keep me informed if anyone is needing me to be apart of anything against this school.
