Anytime I asked him for the money he would get combaitve until, finally, I decided to just leave. He seems to have no issue selling very poor quality and broken cars to people with no other recourse than to buy a cheap car. Tried to get me to sell cars with blown transmissions to women with children. When I challenged him on the ethical validity of this issue, he said, "Who's side are you on?".
I strongly recommend against buying a car from this man, unless you know about cars. Sometimes they get a good one, and you can get it for a good deal. But for the most part, they schlep junk, and are noth worthy of honest consideration for a quality used car. If you try to return a car that is broken, he wil hem and haw and tell you he will fix it. If you agree to that, sometimes if it's an easy fix you will get it back in maybe a week.
But for the people dumb enough to buy a car with a blown tranny from these people, you might as well throw your money away. You will never see the car again, and is all you will get is a ton of excuses. He even admitted to me once that he called a balck woman the "N" word after she became irate and wanted her money back from a deposit she demanded back from him. He gave her the money, but for all the grief this guy will give you, it's completely a waste of time.
