I sold 4 CD's to wherehouse.com.  I got the email stating that they were paying me for only 3 of the CD's.  The one CD that I sold them I was to be paid $5.00 for it.  It was like new, case was not broken, CD's were not scratched, hardly listened to.  It was a WOW 2010 Hits of Christian music.

I have contacted the company and asked them why the one CD was cancelled and I did not get paid for it.  The email that I got back from their customer service stated that the CD that I ordered was not available and therefore cancelled.  I sent an email back to them stating I had not placed an order for any CD's, but that I was selling them and wanted to know why it was cancelled when it was in perfect condition.  The email stated selling to wherehouse.com in the subject line.  But, yet the customer service rep could not read very well, I guess, stating I placed an order.

I have contacted them 3 more times since then and no one will respond to me.  I think someone that was checking the CD's in kept it for themselves.  I know I packed 4 CD's in the box and each one was individually wrapped in bubble wrap.  I have checked my home and the double CD is not in my home because it was sent to them.

I know their policy states that if artwork is missing, cd's are scratched or the case broken they will not accept it and won't return it.  Well, this CD was in perfect condition, like new so I don't see how that could be the issue.

I have been gyped out of $5.00.

I also found out and did not know this but I looked on my past orders to them and found out that they have done this to me before.  I had not checked it out.  But, on November 12, 2007, I found that they cancelled a Michael W. Smith Christmas CD I sent them and again this CD was in perfect condition.  On December 18, 2007, the CD The Rascals - Very Best was also cancelled.  Again, this CD also was in perfect condition.  These CD's were hardly listened to.

I would not do business with this company ever again.  They will not respond to my emails and there is no other way I can contact them.  They do not have phone numbers on their website.  There website is:  http://www.wherehouse.com/.

They are also known as secondspin.com.  They can be contacted by mail at:

Trans World Entertainment Corp., Attn. Wherehouse.com, 900 N. Rohlwing Rd., Itasca IL  60143

Recevied $5.00

AUTHOR: Dleec - (USA)

Only after indicating to wherehouse.com in a 3rd email that I was filing a ripoff report that I finally got a response from their customer service stating that due to the nature of my email they had to take it to their warehouse manager.  Common courtesy would have been to respond to my previous emails and tell me this but they waited until I was forced to file a report on them.  They said they found the CD that I sold them.  They apologized and I got my $5.00.
