Whipp'd Soft Serve Scam Atristans West Hollywood California

For those with sensitive eyes, minds, or constitutions, I apologize for the colorful language that follows. However, the words are chosen carefully as they are necessary to convey the timbre and tone of the horrendous experience I just had at this pathetic excuse for a business. 

Without getting into the boring details of the inciting incident, I will instead focus on the treatment of its customers by its weasel-like  d****e nozzle of an owner/partner. Suffice it to say that we had a prepaid "punch card" of a certain number of pints, that when presented this evening, were told that the card was old and we'd best use up the remaining PRE-PAID options or lose our money. He would oh-so-benevolently honor it tonight because he's just that nice a guy. 

I proceeded to tell him that we had exchanged money for the card and therefore that card should last in perpetuity. There was no expiration date on the card, nor does California law allow gift cards and their like to expire, regardless.  

Rather than make an attempt to earn more business and opt for the customer friendly approach, I got a big heap of "don't tell me how to run my business," followed by vitriol and a level of argumentativeness usually reserved for a two-year-old in the throes of a tantrum, ultimately resulting in a refusal to honor the card at all as well as being refused service of any kind. 

I can get ice-cream anywhere. Good service, however, and those who care about building a customer base and interfacing with their community, is apparently at a premium. And while you may find a mediocre version of the former here, you most certainly won't find the latter. 

Aren't we sick and tired of shop owners who don't get the service part of customer service? I know I am. 

So, please, exercise your rights as a consumer elsewhere!  Do not give this place your patronage. You deserve better -- and they don't deserve your dollars, your time, or your business.
