Whitewing Financial Group Aka CAMCO, Derrick Samuels, Christopher B. Badger, President Falsely accused father and then pursued me for erroneous 17 year old debt ripoff Houston Texas

About three months ago my dad's second wife opened a letter addressed to my dad regarding a delinquent credit card account which he never opened. Not being the sharpest tool in the shed she called Whitewing without first consulting him and they immediately sprang into action. When she confronted my dad later he informed her that she obviously jumped to conclusions since he never had an account with this company. Not satisfied, she then demonstrated how malice she can be by falsely accusing me (my dad and I have the same first names). I haven't spoken to his wife in 15 years.

When my dad contacted me about this situation and subsequently sent me the letter I took one look at it and told him to throw it away as it was obviously a mass marketing letter and had nothing to do with either of us.

His wife, not content with his response, hounds my dad, saying that I must've stolen his identity, used his address and created this bad debt. This went on for weeks, calls about once a month, asking me what I was going to do about this company. Keep in mind his wife acts much older than her actual age of 70 years.

He called again yesterday and explained that Whitewing was now calling "Ironhead" (his wife) on her cell phone, yes she gave them her cell phone number! (ha ha ha there is a God). So once again she demands that my dad call me and that I do something about getting this monkey off her back.

The discussion between my dad and I became rather heated to the point where I finally said, "fine give me all of the information and I'll take care of it," accusing him of preferring to put this off on me rather than stand up to his wife. We both agreed that in order to get crawl back under her rock it was probably worth the $200.00 that Whitewing was trying to collect.

However I'm a man of principle and didn't feel that some stranger harrassing me or my dad deserved a penny, (wish I could've let them harrass my stepmother forever). So I called the Credit and Collections Fraud Investigation department of the Credit Card company that Whitewing pretends to be collecting on behalf of to inquire as to their affiliation with Whitewing. None. The receivables had been sold years ago. In fact, I later found out that the debt was 17 years old.

That's when I did a google search and found www.Ripoffreport.com and discovered Whitewing aka CAMCO. Needless to say I called my dad back, explained the situation, apologized for our previous argument and sent him an email. He replied by saying he was going to frame the Report and hang it in the kitchen so Numb Skull would have to be reminded of it each day.

That was last night... this morning I get a phone call from none other than Whitewing... (you guessed it, out of spite she gave them my contact information).

Because of this site, when I spoke with Derrick Samuels today I simply explained to him that I was well aware of who Whitewing aka CAMCO was and that I could save us both some time. If he would give me the file number I would be happy to send him a cease and desist letter by Certified Mail.

He said thank you and that was that. I'm concerned about others having to deal with this and would gladly join an effort to do something about Whitewing if anyone is interested. I understand Class Action won't work apparently because Whitewing has no money therefore the lawyers won't pursue them.
