This sight is most needed and great for public safety. I have some information about these guys that I think all of you should know. My name is Don. I am a retired Ventura County Sheriff's Department Detective.

I ordered shutters from a company named Premier Window Fashions on June 6, 2004. I met with Gregory Allen Davis and his partner, a Michael Margott. I met them at their location in the USA Business Center, Newbury Park, CA., on Old Canejo Road. I also met with the receptionist Amy and Tony Margott Jr., who was the companies installing coordinator and who's ROC # was on file for the company.

I was quoted a price but advised payment in advance was needed in order to honor that price. At this time I felt very comfortable with the company as they're owners and staff seemed like nice people and had a physical location. I was quoted 6 to 8 weeks for installation. At the 9th week, my concerns started to arrise when calls were not answered. I made numerous attempts to contact the company to no avail and no messages were returned.

I then decided to make a visit to the location some three months after the date of signing the agreement. The companies new name on the door was SHORELINE SHUTTERS. I approached the individual that I knew as Tony Margott Jr in the back of the warehouse and asked for a status on my order. I also inquired as to why my messages had gone without response. I was then met with a very abrupt response from Tony. Tony picked up a hammer from one of the tables, using a threating gesture and using profanity, told me to get the hell out of his building.

I then proceed to leave the building and follow with legal actions. After further attempts to reach Greg, Amy or Mike, to no avail, and also having hired a lawyer to write letters to the company, I then was astonished in January when trying to make a final attempt to obtain my order, Premier was no longer in business and a company by the name of Discount Blind and Shade Factory had taken over.

I was then promised I would receive delivery in 4 weeks. Believing this was yet another stall tactic, I was surprised when an installer by the name of Jason showed up at my home to install my order. I gave much credit to this take over company Discount Blind & Shade that I felt confident enough in forwarding their number to family members and friends. All of who's orders went without a hitch. That is until my nephew placed an order with them sometime in October 2005 only to find out after his installation date came and went Discount Blind and Shade had filed bankruptcy.

I think the public needs to know more about these folks. Michael Margott, Cindy Patai-Margott, company "Shoreline Shutters" operating in Oxnard, California. Michael Margott / Gregory Allen Davis is tied "Shoreline Shutters", "Premier Window Fashions" and "Wholesale Blinds and Shutters".

Gergory Allen Davis did this various thing numerous time under "Wholesale Blinds & Shutters" I have found in my investigations. There is a deeper investigation of fraud and the loss of his ROC license. And now have discovered that these two have opened up new companies in the Ventura County, one being DISCOUNT SHUTTERS AND BLINDS, main business dealing in Sacramento, Randie Margott (aka Arlien Margott), opened a retail company, SHUTTERS & BLIND PRO'S, but retains her job at Shoreline Window Fashions on a daily basis and is Michael's and Tony's mother.

I also believe there is a possible conntection to many other company's such as TAYLOR MADE, WINDOW CONCEPTS, just to name a few. It is in the public's best interest to stop this family, Michael Margott, Tony Margott, Cindy Patai-Margott, and Randie (Arlien) Margott and Gregory Allen Davis, to mention a few that I have concrete evidence on. Others are being investigated and will be added once our findings are more definitive. In addition to possible other characters, there are other laws that have been broken. I will follow up with you all in days to come.
