Why Not Lease It Was told there was no extra cost to making payments vs buying out the contract, Payments do not go towards balance. Bedford New Hampshire

 I purchased some furniture and used the Why Not Lease It program to finance it. I was told I could buy out the lease after 5 payments. My 5th month payment was in February 2013 I called them to pay off the balance and they told me I had not made all my payments and could not pay off the balance until March. In March they took the regular payment out so I called them and asked why they had not taken the remaining balance out and they told me I had to call them to make that arrangement.

I told them I had called in February and that I wanted to pay the balance. I then asked them if it cost more to pay it off in payments then in the one lump sum and they told me no it was the same price. This is not true. Every payment I have made after February has not even touched the remaining balance. Infact they will continue to charge me every month for 18 months then come repo the merchandise. This is the most ridiculous practice I have ever hear of and they flat out lied to me. Stay away from this company.
