 I to with cash in hand had been saving for my 2 sons Birthdays all year. I have no means of extra money to make because of my disability. My son wanted a smart pad and Kmart had one on sale for 99.00. Next my other son wanted a tv. So I get to checkout and I see same as cash. I ask clerk she says yea everyone is doing it. You pay nothing extra and you pay for 6 months and you are done. Man i was so happy I could use some of the money to have a party. Well 7 months gets here and I get hit with another payment and 25.00 fee and 2 overdraft 29 fees with my bank. I call whynotleaseit and they hang up every time I ask questions. No one would talk to me. So I called Kmart headquarters and no one know of the program all the way down to the store we got the items. I asked did they not give a training program on doing this arrangement. We a Kmart complaint Dept supervisor finally helped and called them and also goto hung up on. Finally he got a number to so headquarters not called whynotleaseit that handles the billing for this. Whynotleaseit is a front. Well lady said it would be another 400.00 to close it out that I had agreed to pay 80.00 a month for 18 months. I explain to the lady that was not what I was told. I was told same as cash and that's what I want. I even said ok come pick it up because if I did pay 18 months it would cost me 3 times the price. Well tried everything to block them from drafting my account and they got me every time. So I ended up using my son Christmas money to close out this account. We had no thanksgiving and will not be having Christmas. I sat my sons downs and explain I gave my mind and body to defend this country before they were born. Not knowing after they were born I would also be condemning them to a hardship life after my injuries. So here is my my fix ban all kmarts and Sears for letting crooks in their shoppers life's and lie to them and not training a single associate on the program not even management. So for my kids Christmas I ask don't shop Kmart or Sears for my sons as a honor to me and other disable vets. That you as Americans will not let these crooks go on. Call your kmarts and Sears and let them know where you shopped and how much that you didn't spend with them. Everytime you go shopping. Thank you for this gift.

The lady told you about a deal that sounded to good to be true and you ate up off the floor. How do we know you thought it was too good to be true? And we all know what the rule is when something sounds to good to be true.........it usually is.

As a matter of fact they did, on the contract you said you read when you signed the electronic signature pad that you referenced in this statement, "it ight have been hidden where on the contract, which i sigh via electricic device". The most important, most relevant information is in the first paragraph and would have taken you less time to read than it did to write your piece. If you had trouble reading it, why would you agree to the terms outlined in it? Not comprehending the material is the same as just not reading it.

So, you are taking things into your own hands by simply not adhering to the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you signed the contract and took the merchandise home. Why Not Lease It didnt promise you same as cash, the lady at the store did, whose job it is to sell people stuff. As I see it, you are the only one breaking a promise. And how do we know that they have the option to give same as cash? There's no way to know if they can or cant do that if it isnt mentioned in the contract....which it isnt.
