Set up install for Jan 16. Never received equipment, never received a phone call or e-mail explaining the no show. Charged my card to "validate" my order and then decided they were not accepting new customers in this area. No one bothered to notify me, I had to call to find out.

It was only $1 but its not the money that bothers me, it's the idea that they took it and then backed out on their end. And after hours on the phone and being hung up at least 3 times, trying to resolve the problem, they tell me that it is a non-refundable charge.

If they can't handle new customers they should say that upfront and not take peoples money and promise what they can't deliver. People work hard for their money and can't afford to just give it away. Mybluedish.com needs to be stopped.

installs

wild blue is in control of the satellites. they have 2 location that they use. one is a hybrid c, ku and ka band. the other is mainly ka band. im not a wild blue installer. i started taking the test then realized . that after 25 years in the business i wasnt going to take another test. i didnt mind maybe going to a class to learn the software portion of the install. i used to be a starband dealer. butafter 6 months of hearing about the equipment was coming. while other dealers were getting equipment. then i switched to directway powered by pegasus . i got equipment in 5 days. but when you give a 30 day money back warranty. then directway was controlling the speed of the pegasus customers. when you work your a*s off then have to go pull it out . well i didnt make anymoney there. i mainly do dish network. wild blue always try to inform us as soon as possible. i know this because dish network is a wild blue dealer and i get informed on the dealer web site. even though im not a wild blue installer. but i would hate to be the one that goes out to a customers home to do the install. where i got done with the installation. then had to make that phone call to active the equipment . just to find out they area was just closed. the dealer gets 178.00 for the installs. but the installer if lucky get 60. to 100.00 to do the install. they have to supply materials, gas and their time. i did a dish network install for a country music singer. it had a one year contract. yep they didnt keep it on for a 30 days. i got charged back 650.00 for that installation. thats right the dealer gets charged back when the customer doesnt meet the contractual obligation. dont get me wrong someone should have better informed you. but i always tell people to call either wild blue themselves or dish network for the install. i wish all could lose was a dollar..............

I too was a victim of them in TEXAS and the $1 is a small price that saved you a lot of hell!

I too was a victim of wild blue, however, I signed up for their service. I am not far from your location in Texas but I can tell you the $1 you paid is a small price to pay that saved you a lot of hassel and a lot of frustration. I only wish I could have gotten off that cheap!

Try Air Canopy in that area or UsaPathway both have much better reviews and both are a lot easier to deal with.
