Wildland Tents DO NOT BUY! Bad quality! mission viejo California

I purchased their Speedy tent for about $2,000 with an additional delivery fee. Founder of the company, Ian Oliver, delivered the tent to me pesonally. I opened the box and the tent looked reasonable, even though the top shell seemed kind of deformed here and there and the fiberglass pattern seemed to shine through the paint a little. All in all it looked ok and I was excited to put it on my truck.

After just 1 months a crack appeared in the shell and I started seeing bubbles in the fiberglass here and there. I texted Ian on his cell with a picture and he said he would get with the factory and let me know what he could do.

NEVER HEARD FROM IAN AGAIN!! Called several times and left messages. Now two months later the top is starting to come apart. the bubbles, sized from a needle to a nickle, are cracking open. So my $2,000 tent has only lasted 3 months!

I decided to spray the top of it with bedliner spray (LINEX) to protect it, $425. Hopefully that will work.

Defintely would not recommend buying a tent from these guys.

Btw the pictures are after just 4 weeks, two months later it was appearing everywhere.
