I registered a domain name with cheap-registrar.com for 1 year. At the end of that year I cancelled with "cheap-registrar.com" only to find out they are also "https://www.securepaynet.net". When I asked them who "wildwestdomains" was I was told they are the parent company. "wildwestdomains.com" is part of GoDaddy.com and are listed as the owners of my website for another year! They said they would not allow me to transfer my domain name to another company unless I paid them for a year. I have read they are doing this to a lot of people. You cannot cancel with them or they will steal your domain. Theft and extortion are what these companies do when you cancel. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY OF THESE COMPANIES!! Be very aware of this phone # (480) 624-2500. It is the link to all the shell companies used to rip people off!
