On September 7, 2005, I listed 24 porcelain dolls with QuickSellIt in Troy, MI, an EBay trading assistant company.
Over the next two months I watched EBay and saw many of them sell. On November 2, 2005, I noticed that Quicksellit, Troy, MI was no longer active on EBay. I telephoned and only got an answering machine. On Monday, November 7, I went to the location and spoke to the only on-site representative. He told me that there was a "technical glitch" with the website and that the "man who wrote the checks" was not there at the moment. I left my name, address and telephone number.
Finally, I ended up with a check for $88 for the 13 dolls that apparently sold but they could not "find" the remaining dolls. I never received any sort of compensation for those dolls.
I finally went to the Troy Police Department and filed a complaint against QuickSellIt. Apparently, I was not the only complainant. Soon afterwards, QuickSellIt in Troy was featured in a local television consumer report for the same problem I was having.
Not long after that, I noticed that QuickSellIt was no longer in that location.
The owner of the business was one, William Bournias, Jr.

I worked at the company and Mr. Bournias was an Investor of the company and not the owner. He had other interest and did not work at the company. Dan and I ran the business. This women was paid and just felt she should of received more money for her items but as you know ebay is an auction. Mr. Bournias did not know this women and never had contact with her. She did stop by the store often and had been drinking therefore I am not sure she was knowledgeable of what she was droping off at the store.
We stop doing business because Mr. Bournias was not making any money on this venture and went on to be a global supplier of major automotive parts now living in england. I sure hope this women got help with her Drinking like AA or something she sure liked to stop by the store when she had been drinking. Poor sole......god bless her.
Anyway, Mr. Bournias Paid all of us and his customers on time.......what a guy. We all love him and would work for again.
