I recently signed up to William Hill Casino.  The T's & C's would not display and I had no option but to accept the 100 Bonus.

I played for an hour on roulette and found I was in profit.  I tried to withdraw my month but got the error message saying if I withdrew my funds I'd lose my winnings and bonuses.  I called customer services who said I needed to wager 2500 before I could make a withdrawal.  Annoyed I continued to play for 3 hours until I'd bet the 2500 that stated.

I tried to withdraw my winnings again but the request would not go through.  So I made another phone call to their customer services.  Thats when they told me I actually needed to wager 10,000.00 before I would make a withdrawal.  I was told roulette only counts as 0.25% of the total wager.  So if I bet 100 in one spin - it would only count as 25.  It took me 2 days to wager 10,000.00.  I saw my winnings go from 700 down to 294.

I rung customer services again asking if I could now make my withdrawal - which they said I could - but my request to take out 294 was refused.  Back onto customer services who advised I can't request all the money as 75 was the bonus and they take that part back.  I could only withdraw 219.

I make the request which they said could take upto 4 days to process.  It now a week since I made the request - and I still have not got any of my winnings back.  I put in a complaint which they said they would forward to senior management - but I've heard nothing since.  I cannot believe they expect you to wager TEN THOUSAND POUNDS when you only intend on playing with 50.  And even then you cannot get your money out.

I'm deleting my account if I ever do manage to get my money back.  Once I'd made with withdrawal request I started getting emails saying I could get 60% bonuses or something like that - but no thanks - I think if I play again they'll be conditions where I have to wager stupid amounts and even then trying to get my money back will be a total nightmare.

Please excuse my typo in my first report (near the top).

Since I complained I put in several "follow up" emails to the William Hill Casino support team - every response was similar - "we have forwarded this matter to senior management, please be patient".  I was starting to think this was just something they told everyone - and nothing further would happen.

A week after my first complaint email, I received a reply from the management team - saying the delay was due to the fact they needed to speak to the person who gave me the advice I needed to wager 2500.  Cutting a long story short they put things right - and I'm happy with what they did (take a look below - of course I'm happy).

They gave me 275 - which was the additional winnings I had when I first contacted them....wow - thank you very much.  They even withdraw that money so it was going into my bank account.  I was impressed....then they went one further.....they ALSO put 50 into my account to play with or withdraw as I pleased - so they actually gave me 325!!! Well I couldn't resist having a little play with the 50 just sitting there - and after ten minutes I found myself withdrawing 75 instead of 50.

I have continued to use the site and put in 75 and came away with 115 the following night - another small profit.  A few days later I got a personal "no strings attached" bonus that I could either withdraw or play with.  The amount?? 4.  You cannot withdraw any amount under 10 - so I started playing again - and got up to 10 - and withdrew it.  I withdrew it on principle they said I could withdraw my bonus 4 but of course I couldnt unless I added 6 to it.

The site is great to play on - my only issue now is any withdrawal is left "pending" for 4 business days before they even look at it.....then it takes between 4 and 7 business days to appear in your bank account.  Withdrawals on average take up to two weeks to go back into your account.  If I come across a site where the money is paid back quicker Id change, otherwise Ill play with fairly small amounts.

Overall verdict - if your happy to wait for your winnings - this site is alright.  Management put right their wrong - and I'm still playing.  Just don't get caught up in bonuses with catches.
