This company will not perform as advertised. Howard even shows you businesses he has worked in the past, making you believe you will be contacting them. Guess what, all they are doing is using Selectory to find you companies to contact. They will never contact these companies, they will never sit down and review your progress.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
In Response to the Ripoff Report Dated October 13, 2009
AUTHOR: Agency Ownership - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, October 21, 2009
In regards to your accusation about the businesses he has worked (with) in the past: We do not exhibit any businesses we have worked (with) in the past; simply put, we do not work for businesses. We solely work for our clients; the individual person seeking new employment.
However, in defense of this misconstrued allegation businesses he has worked (with) in the past: The following is the actual verbiage you read introducing our list of businesses, and the intention for creating that list: "The following was prepared to serve as a "sampling" of organizations to reflect the vast range of clients we have advised. However, not included, for reasons of confidentiality, are individuals in private practice, i.e., legal, medical, etc. The universities listed represent faculty and administrative personnel, not graduates seeking initial employment." Again, actual verbiage, and in very plain language.
In regards to your accusation regarding, guess what, all they are doing is using Selectory to find you companies to contact: This is another totally misconstrued statement. And, heres why
Selectory use is not initially offered as part of our service, its not even mentioned in our contract. However, we do provide a Selectory access code as a professional courtesy, and, at no charge to interested clients who want to have additional research support in the comfort of their own home, and on their own selected time. This directory is not our Priority #1 in-house database; as alleged. It is a secondary subscription service that we use as one of our many research tools.
Following are three e-mails from appreciative clients who were given free access to this very expensive database service: 1)You guys are amazing! I can't thank you enough for giving me (after hours) access to this database. 2) I REALLY appreciate this access 3) selectory gives you all the information to call whomever you want By the way, this last quote was cut and pasted from an actual e-mail received from you. Hmm, how ironic
They will never contact these companies: This statement is totally inaccurate. Contacting companies is a very, very important part of our research.
They will never sit down and review your progress: Yet another inaccurate statement. The same day this rebuttal was being prepared, we had two re-group meetings with other clients. During our relationship, being local, you were invited into our office twice to re-group; only to ignore the offers. This posting will be our third attempt.
You became a client in December, 08. As you know, being a client, it takes seven to ten days to prepare the initial search letter and resume, then get it all approved by you; prior to going into production. And, approve you did. As soon as you approved your written materials, you were in the market. Quickly generated was the following employer activity: 1) January 21: Rave Computers. 2) January 21: Energy Conversions. 3) January 30: D. Wolf, no company listed. 4) March 4: Johnson Controls.
From the above employer responses, it is apparent that companies do in fact accept personal letters. Quite the contrary to your charges. As far as addressing the cut and paste and materials that do not make sense charges, the quality of our writing was clearly defined at the end of paragraph #1; quote #3.
Now, after all of this quick and positive activity, on March 9 (all documented) you instructed this office to "put my campaign on hold until further notice". Why? Whats the reason for you putting your very active campaign on hold?
So, we are asking you, again, to contact us so we can get your career search back on track.
