William J. Monaghan is a rostered attorney at Macomb County Probate Court, one of the few Michigan probate courts that still appoint attorneys as guardians and conservators.  This court knows no bounds and this attorney represents end of life and devastation of estate to any ward over whom either of two brainless, spineless judges at this court appoint him.  As this is typically accomplished in violation of numerous court rules and Michigan's primary protective Statute, they are all accomplices in sundry schemes to move the wards out of their homes to the most restrictive, deplorable facilities, often owned by their cohorts, after which Monaghan quickly sells all personal assets (or gives them to his helpers), sells real estate (also to his helpers) at bottom dollar and leaves the wards penniless, sick and dying.  As for the 'attorney fees' he charges, he supports those with kindergarten level stories about phone calls to terrible sons and daughters.

As for the poor victims' families, he typically befriends one relation, the person most similar in narcissistic temperament, and puts that poor slob to work, paying pecuniary rewards for criminal activities - like a collection of the ward's china, a cache of her jewelry or a roomful of her furniture. He propagates insidious rumors to establish riffs among family to ensure that he will remain guardian and/or conservator.  He does this all under the watchful cognizance and protection of the judges and court officers, who defend his every action, to the point of perjuring themselves in vomitous lies during hearings.  Despicable court, unredeemed by 'a few good men' and women.  Foolish, dangerous but stupider by the day, William J. Monaghan.
