 Corrosion can occure from more then just a drop in water. If you take your phone into the bathroom while its "steamy" you will have corrosion. If you use your phone out side in the rain, this will cause it as well. My point is that there is MORE then just dropping a phone in water that will cause corrosion. Look up a soft reset on your model of phone online. Its normally holding one of the volume buttons and the power button at the same time. This will bypass the boot load issue you are having and allow you to turn your phone on. You were sold a brand new phone and its ONLY been due to the use YOU have put on it that has caused this. Normally if a phone doesnt start up after a download, you have a SOFTWARE issue where one of your apps is NOT working right and this will cause a boot lock. You may have to completly reset your phone by doing a factory reset in the settings to clear this up. Your going to lose everything on the phone so make sure you have backed up your contacts and pictures. You have to follow the SAME protocals on your phone thqat you would on your home computer. Dont just download willy nilly. research what you are going to download BEFORE you do it so you are prepared for the issues that pop up. Too many ppl think that just because its a PHONE and not a COMPUTER that they do not have to be careful on their downloads.
