Windshield Specialists Poor Glass/Poor Installation N. Charleston, South Carolina

The sales person did tell me that they use the best glass on the market, and some more blah, blah, blah, all of which I was to later discover as being all BS. The next day, their installer, who doesn't even come close to looking as a professional, did replace my windshield. Later that day, I had to go to the store and noticed that my new windshield appeared hazy. I thought it was because of the heat, so I didn't pay it much attention. After about a week of this constant haze on my windshield, and while at work, another installer from another glass company was in the process of replacing one of my coworker's windshield. 

I asked this installer if he would take a look at my windshield to see if there was something wrong with it. He was very polite and very professional, however when he walked up to my car, the first thing he said was that this is after market auto glass. I told him what the initial sales person told me, and the installer shook his head and told me that they had replaced my windshield with the cheapest glass on the market. He then proceeded to give me the phone number to his boss to see if he could assist me further. 

I called the installer's boss, and unfortunately discovered that I had been lied to from the Windshield Specialists sales person. The gentleman on the phone asked if I would provide him my email cause he wanted to send me some helpful information that might protect me in the future. I gave him my email, and by the time I got home, he had already sent me a rather lengthy, but extremely educational, email regarding auto glass. 

Now, I am actually trying to get behind one of those big trucks so that a rock will bust my awful windshield so I can get it replaced with OE auto glass, and NOT that junk glass that this horrible company uses. So, if you are at home, or pull into a convenience store, or get your vehicle washed at the Charleston area Cactus Car Washes, do yourself a HUGE favor and DO NOT let this awful company touch your car. In fact, do yourself another HUGE favor, and don't even give them the time of day! You will be glad you avoided them, and that I guarantee you!!!
