I paid $150 to attend driver's education at Winona Secondary School. It would have been only $125 if I was in-district student or a student who attended that school. I am an adult driver who was looking to finish learning how to fully drive so that I can get my driver's license and then get me a car or truck from an auto dealership; etc. I previously attended driver's education at Winona Secondary School in Winona, MS back in 2014, but I quit it after like a week due to issues in my personal life. In between 2014-2017, I have been practice driving with people such as my parents, my friend, & a guy who I used to go to church with. I have even driven for long way on a highways with my parents. I needed to attend driver's education to learn how to parralel park, do a 3-point turn, reverse, pull in, pull out, turn curves properly; etc. I am pretty good with holding the car in the road. I was told that the first 2 weeks would be classroom work, the third week would be using the simulator, & the fourth week would be driving. I already had my driver's permit so I did not even need the classroom work & the simulator or at least the classroom work. Anyways, I faithfully went to class daily on the days that class was available. I stuck with it until the end this time. The instructor was the same instructor who I had last time. He told us that we would all drive 3 hours each. Both days we had start driving past 8:00 A.M. and was back at the school at like 9:45 A.M. He did not let us drive 3 hours each nor did he show me and most of the other student drivers in the car with me how to do 3-point turns & parralel park. He told us that he was going to show us how to do a 3-point out turn in the parking lot of the recreation park. He let us only drove around the block at the recreation park. Then, he drove down Highway 82 (Highway 82 East the 1st day & Highway 82 West the 2nd day) & then we all drove. We all drove for like 20-30 minutes each for 2 days. He lied and told us that we would drive for 1 1/2 hours for it to be a total of 3 hours each for two days. He told us that he would show us how to parralel park in the parking lot of Sonic Drive-In. We never drove to Sonic Drive-In nor anywhere else to learn how to parralel park. He made a statement to us how we all are not going to kill him. I feel like if he is that cautious then he should not be teaching that class. He was in a rush the whole time. When one of my siblings attended driver's education like back in 2004 with a different instructor, they got to do road driving for like a month, and they drove to towns that are 11-13 miles from our hometown on Highways 51 North & South, Highway 82, the expressway, learned how to do a 3-point turn, & learned how to parralel park. This instructor that I had would not even let us get on the expressway to drive. The only good thing that came out of this was that I got my completion certificate to take to insurance companies to get cheaper insurace once I find somebody else to finish showing me how to fully drive & I get my driver's license.
