Wired Plastic Visa Prepaid Card refuses to close my account unless I pay them $15.00 fee for closing the account. I was not ever notified from them that there would be a fee to close an account. Please be very careful before getting involved with this company. You can find numerous complaints from this company by doing a simple Google search. You really need to ask yourself if you want to trust your money to a company that adds fees to your account whenever they want to. If you need a prepaid visa card, there are many choices. Wired Plastic is a rip-off and you have now been warned.

There has to be a law against a company charging you to close an account without giving information as such to begin with. How would you like the water company to tell you that if you move and want to cancel your account that now you will be charged for closing the account, and you can replace water company with all of the services you sign up for. If there is enough people that will complain about this I am sure we can get a class action lawsuit filed or at least the US Congress to put a stop to these unfair charges. As for me, tomorrow I will be contacting the Utah AG about this company and see what they can do to help.
