I wanted to write and express how disheartened and disappointed I am with what has happened as a new seller with partnership with Wish.com. As a new seller, of course, I was excited that Wish.com was another avenue of selling my merchandise through. What I did not realize is the company is a SCAM, a complete sham, and to be stayed far away from.

The first red flag was when they sold one of my items for 1 cent, with FREE SHIPPING. What I did not realize that my shipping terms had not been loaded from Shopify platform as expected. Therefore, the three orders that I had all incurred free shipping fees and the order for 1cent made me lose money. I honored it anyway, since it is the right thing to do.

When I reached out to Wish.com about my order, I was told they the reserve the right to adjust my prices. I do not understand how this is fair or just, when I as a merchant dictate the prices of my merchandise and shipping as they deem profitable for me. Here is a copy of the generated email I received from them:

“Hello Besa,

I apologize for the wait. Wish reserves the right to adjust prices. This allows us to create different discounts and promotions for our customers to help increase merchant sales. I have attached a link that explains a bit more about the price difference on Wish.

It is ultimately your decision on whether or not you would like to fulfill the order. You can fulfill the order or refund the customer. To refund the order you will have to select the 'Actions' drop down on the far right of the order and select 'Refund'. This will cause a pop-up to appear on your screen, allowing you to provide a reason for the refund. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know and I will be happy to assist you. Thank you for choosing Wish.

Thank you,

The next red flag is when I received three other emails telling me that my orders were being refunded to the buyers because I had failed to upload my tracking information, which. I did upload my tracking; they show up on my dashboard, I have proof that I had done so.

Here is the copy of the Email I received from Wish.com

“Hello Besa,

You are being contacted because you manage the account for Kismet Bazaar on Wish for Merchants.

You have order that have been waiting to be shipped for more than 5 calendar days.
Each of the following orders have been refunded.

Wish is committed to providing the best user experience possible to our users. We will reconsider partnering with Merchants that cannot provide prompt order fulfillment.

If you require assistance fulfilling future orders, please reach out to General.”

Therefore, I reached out again and disputed what is clearly a ‘theft’ of my funds for three different orders that have had tracking information uploaded.

Again, they responded with an untrue statement, therefore, leaving me out of three sales, in addition to shipping costs incurred. Here is their response:

Hello Besa,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, since there was no tracking number submitted at the time of the refund, these orders are not eligible for a Refund Dispute. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know and we will assist you as quickly as we can. Thank you for choosing Wish.

If you are a new merchant, I truly hope you will consider this complaint against what seems one of the worst unethical companies today. I do not understand how company reserves a right to not only adjust merchant prices, but ultimately steal their funds once the orders are fulfilled.

Though I am glad that I have caught this early on, I will make certain that I will not stop until my voice is heard. Such unethical, fraudulent companies do not deserve to be in business as I am certain; I am not the only one in this predicament.

Just, please, BEWARE!

Sincerely,

Besa Kosova
