wish.com , wish.com Wish.com promised a discount and failed to apply the discount that was advertised san francisco california

On 9/2/18 I ordered some items from wish.com and there was a banner on the website giving up to 50% off the bill when the Labor Day code was used by 9/3/18. I put in the discount code and never got a discount on the bill.

I quickly contacted wish.com to cancel the order or provide the discount. Wish.com did neither one. I also contacted Paypal to dispute the charge, but I am unable to do that yet, since wish.com processed the order and has the items being shipped by now.

Wish.com claims the discount code had expired, so I provided proof that it had not expired and was good till 9/3/18. I emailed wish.com three times about the issue and not getting the discount as promised. Every response I received said the same thing, despite the proof I provided.

Wish.com claims their system would have given the discount if it had not expired. It is as if a computer was doing the responding or as if no one considered the proof I provided. I provided wish.com a screenshot of the banner with the discount code and the expiration date. Apparently that was not good enough or it had been ignored
