I signed up for a membership on 6/30/08 intentionally I wanted to try a one year contract but I was thrown offers that were supposedly better and cheaper after I signed up I changed my decision from a 2 year contract to a 1 year I called over the phone asking if I could switch to a one year contract and some employee named "TINA" bold-face lied and said they don't offer 1 year contracts, I already knew right then and there it was complete BULL, I then contacted another womans workout world facility in chicago asking if they had offered a 1 year and they said they did, I marched into the location of the place I signed a contract with telling them I wanted to change my contract to 1 whole year and the sales rep busted out the calculator again telling me I have 3 days to change my mind as if what I told her went in one ear and out the other, I got home and was very upset I contacted the headquarters in tinley park and spoke to a woman named Cathy who then directed me to a lady named JEN she called back to try and listen to my complaints but instead I got even more irrate when she said in a very bold voice "STOP RIGHT THERE I'M NOT GOING TO TOLERATE THAT LANGUAGE IF IT CONTINUES I WILL HANG UP" I simply stated that I was upset the branch on lawrence bullshitted me I then told her not to give me any restrictions on how I should speak to her because I am the upset customer because this RIP OFF WORKOUT WORLD promotes special cheap offers religiously on their website but when customers walk in the door wanting to sign up they fail to mention these cheap special offers and directly throw the 2 year contract in your face! why give us the 3 days to cancell or change plans when they just keep persuading you to stick to the 2 year because it's supposedly cheaper! I also mentioned about the 14$ a month promo that ended the day I signed up that they didnt mention and had to find out online a day after and this woman Cathy schooled me as if I didnt want the deal! to put it mildly Cathy called back saying my account was cancelled which I never wanted to happen because never did I state I wanted to cancel my account and that they would mail my 25 dollar down payment! if it's like that since they cancelled my account without my authorization then I demanded my 25 dollars back on the spot I called the lawrence facility and they said I'd have to take it up with the Womans workout world headquarters geesus how can I take it up with them if the unprofessional b***h tried giving me restrictions on how to speak and hung up on me inappropriately! this place is full of crap the employees act dumbfounded, they are s****.> Presh
