i am a walmart employee here in ohio. i had direct deposit at woodforest bank. About may i noticed online that everytime I checked my balance i had $100 short of the amount in my check book. When i called Texas and asked why I was not recieving my statements the lady got obnoxious on the phone. So i went to the branch on Tuttle road and asked for a copy they wouldnt give me one . i deposited my payroll check of $700 and a few days later they tell me I owe them $300. I get paid every two weeks and have always kep an extra $200 in my account. However each month I noticed $100 or more missing. I tole her to freeze my account and investigate it. Due to the fact there is a large turm over in the bank. Also Krogers, mejers, and other stores will not honor their checks. I recieve a notification that I now owe them $500 for overdraft fees. this was after I asked my account to be frozen . Now other employees are speaking out about their accounts missing money. I went to the bank in Urbana and she said the Spfld bank should have froze my account like I requested and the overdraft fees should be removed. However Spfld refuses

HI,

seen your complaint on Woodforest bank.
I have never used their bank but I have seen lots of complaints about them on the internet and this website.

I would recommend maybe filing a police report so the bank can be investigated, especially since you are not the only one that says they are missing money from their accounts.

The walmart should also investigate Woodforest since they are in their stores. I am wondering if Woodforest is part of Walmart? or do they just lease out space for their banks?

And I would suggest using a different bank and not Woodforest for your direct deposit.

We have a Woodforest bank at the Findlay walmart but I have never used their services. When they first put in the bank I went on the internet to do some checking on Woodforest and that is when I seen the complaints people have filed about them so I never had any desire to do any banking at Woodforest.
