EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

I ordered the package for $299 with a $2,000 credit card form World Benefits on December the 15th. They said it would take up to 15 days. After 15 days came and went, I called numerous times to see what the hold up was. When I contacted them about the matter their rude employies made axcuses about the holidays and thier was a delay in shipping. Well needless to say, it didn't arrive until February 2nd.

Going over the materials I was disgusted to find there was a bunch of traveling discount junk but no card. So I sent it back the same day. I paid for delivery confirmation and called them a day or two after they had signed for it.

A customer rep. was the first who had answered my call. I told him about the matter and he rudly told me to wait and then put me on hold. The next thing I know a manager was on the phone. I informed him about the return, he checked and said it is right here. I told him that I would like my refund because I only purchased the package for the credit card and there was no credit card included. He told me he would refund me my money and said it would only refund $47.95 out of the $299 I paid.He said that $250 of the money was for fees and processing. Then he added that I had to pay out of the refund $30.00 to talk to him--- I didn't ask to talk to a manager keep in mind.

After becoming very upset with him about the refund matter, he mentioned that the credit card comes about 1 to 2 weeks after my package arrived. I mentioned to him about the rip-off reports that I had read about the business. He replyed that those people lied about their credit status on the first initial phone call. I told him well I know I didn't lie so would I still get one. He said yes. And I asked him about 5 other times to verify that that was exactly what he said--- That I would get my card.

He asked if I would like the material sent back, and I'd get my card if I did so. I told him "well I already spent the money, and if I get my card I'll be satisfied." So he told me he would ship that out to me and it would take 2 to 3 weeks to recieve it again, and the card should arrive 1 to 2 weeks after that.

Well it is now April 5th and it has been 9 weeks and I have not recieved anything once again. I cringe at the thought to call them because it takes me atleast 30 minutes to get through! What do I do now? I was ripped once for the money, and another time for the lies. I am soooo angry at this point and I need your help to get my full refund of $299.00.
