I purchased a Toshiba DLP television over the internet from World Class Plasma. The next day they called to confirm the order and offer a one year extended warranty for an additional $399. When I declined, they offered a special discount on the one-year warranty of $100, or an additional cost of $299.

I again declined the extended warranty and the representative stated a total amount being charged to my credit card that was $249 more that my invoice showed. I inquired about the higher total and he stated that he had to add shipping insurance.

I canceled the order and told him I would be vigilant in watching for fraudulent charges to my credit card. The representative stated Right, try to find us and hung up.
