WORLD COM WIRELESS ripoff CITY OF INDUSTRY California

I ordered a phone thru the internet...was told I would receive it within 48 hours...I did not receive it so I emailed them back and told them to cancel my order since they had already violated there own agreement.

About a month after this I was given an opened package from the office at the complex where I live and was told that it had been delivered to the wrong address and these residents had just turned it in to them. Now come the madness.

I notified the company over the internet, they apologized and emailed me that Federal Express would pick up the telephone.
no Federal Express pickup (and todate no Federal Express pickup)

I called World com...went thru about 3 different people all with different information and after hours on the telephone was directed to an idiot who told me that it was basically impossible for Federal Express not to have delivered the phone without my signature (basically I had to be lying) when I asked to speak to a supervisor it was liking pulling teeth just to find our that we had been talking apples and oranges not apples and appless all along ...they were to send me an envelope from UPS just to find out it was Federal Express for which I was directed to do what I had already done a number of time.

I had emailed world com just (well after their 72 hours reply guarantee) that I needed to called these same people that I had been on the telephone for hours.

They were told
1. I did not receive, sign for nor authorize anyone at this wrong address to sign for the telephone
2. I therefore did not activate the service for the telephone
3. I asked again that the telephone be picked up and the service cacelled as I never signed for nor activated it.

Today I receive a second bill from worldcom. the account is still open and now they want two months payments...apparently as long as they refuse to pick up the telephone, they try to hold you responsible for payment.

I thought these people were reputable but after this I wonder do they need business so bad that they are willing to do anything, tell any lie, scam everybody, just to have business.
