I purchased this service on March 26, 2014. There is a 6 month commitment but the service does NOT work properly or as advertised.

I did not argue at all with the customer service people. They were actually very nice. It's not their fault, obviously. Wrestlemania is the biggest WWE event of the year. Bugs should of been worked out before hand. It's like ordering a 6 month football program and the superbowl not working properly or being watchable. I'm willing to pay for the month I used it. I just want out of the next 5 months. I am forced to continue to pay monthly for the next 6 months but they won't let you out of the 6 month commitment.

As with ANYTHING new, bugs need to be worked out. Thats what it sounds like YOUR issue was. As the previous poster suggested, you wont know if ALL of the bugs have been worked out until you ACTUALLY try it out. I would wait until ATLEAST the next event until you cancel. Give them a chance to get the bugs all worked out. I mean really, how would you expect something BRAND NEW for them to work PERFECTLY?? Despite that fact that STREAMING is STILL in its infancy for all intents and purposes, one must let them fix the problem. Here a thought for you......HAVE SOME PATIENCE!!!!! NOTHING is 100% perfect. You are blasting them because thieir FIRST ATTEMPT to bring you the entertainment that YOU enjoy did not perform as YOU expected.
I would call up their customer service and ASK for a credit towards a future event as the streaming service did not perform as advertised. Normally if you ACT LIKE AN ADULT over the phone, they will work WITH you. IF you sit there and act like a child and throw a tantrum over the phone, then THEY are going to IGNORE you. No employee is EVER paid enough to put up with abuse.
Once you have this credit, then use it towards the next event and see if the streaming gets any better. I would give it a TOTAL of THREE tries. If by the third event they havent gotten it together, THEN cancel the service. Showing your a*s and ranting online because THEY had some technical troubles streaming to YOUR device is not really mature and is what you would expect a teenaged girl to do. YOU would expect a second chance if YOU had a issue outside of YOUR control. DOnt you think THEY should have the same?
And to cut you off at the pass, nope dont work for them, WONT EVER watch them (too fake for me), and I have ZERO vested interest in them. I always find it funny when a private indiviual rebutts a post, the OP ALWAYS ASSUMES that the person rebutting has something to do with the issue they are reporting about. I mean REALLY!?!?!?!?! You think THEY give a d**n about ONE PERSON??? You are a statistic to them and nothing more. A numerical variable. Maybe in the future if you use RoR again, you might take a moment and understand that there are posters, consumers, and volenteers. I am a volenteer and a consumer. I no more represent THEM then I do YOU. Same goes with ANY person who responds to a post.

re wwe streaming

I am in no way, shape or form connected to wwe or any other professional wrestling organization. I am merely a fellow consumer who happens to have a more than cursory knowledge of internet streaming and associated digital delivery.
It is absolutely common for any new infrastructure to experience problems on its initial streaming attempt. No matter how many ways you pre test your system you really cant know what problems could occur until you go live.
Wwe network works as it is supposed to 24 hours a day. We wont know if all of the streaming issues are solved until the next live stream which hasnt occurred, however the point is the event is available for you to watch immediately afterwards and whenever you like.
Also keep in mind that I watched through xbox 360 not ps3 and individual hardware gateways are going to experience different issues. The first 2 weeks i couldnt enable it as they were working through 360 issues. It very well could have been an issue on sonys side of things as well, the ps network is notoriously buggy at times. However I dont see them included in your report.
This is simply par for the course with any new internet streaming service and does not qualify as a rip off, there is no scam or hustle of the customer involved. Simply normal internet stuff common to the medium. The fact is everything else works as it says, you have access to the event, and the 1 day a month streamed event is not remotely the entire package.
I completely understand disappointment in not experiencing what you expected from a product. That being said, I feel it does not warrant labeling a service as a rip off for one streaming issue when that is a common occurrence with every streaming services initial run.

Keep in mind they informed me the next day they had PS3 problems. They should of warned the public in advanced or figured it out. I do not trust this product will work in the future for me. I also have the feeling that the rebutter is connected with the company. The local news ran a piece about people who had my problem. I will be contacting them tomorrow to add to the story.

wwe network performance experience

I also signed up for the WWE network and watched Wrestlemania via my xbox 360 however I received a spectacular high definition picture and only some very minor stuttering.
This being their very first attempt at streaming a live pay per view in that manor there were bound to be the same performance issues at times that every streaming system must work through the first time. It is highly possible your internet connection is not the strongest either.
In any case, I certainly would not call this a rip off in any way. For $10 a month you get access to a tremendous amount of material including all past pay per views. You can dial up a replay of that event anytime you like. I do not think one 4 hour window of poor network performance qualifies as a rip off, especially when you have access to the event to rewatch at any time.
The WWE network delivers everything it promises, the entire wwe library of pay per views to watch any time, the monthly pay per views to vome and original programming. There is no rip off to be found with this product from my experience subscribing.
