It was such a great deal for the price. The deciding factor was the off-peak hours 7:00pm-6:59am. As a minister working with national ministries, this was great-almost too good to be true. A group called Axin Corp. was selling the contract for Worldcom wireless. I called Worldcom wireless to confirm if this would be the off-peak hours for the duration of the one year contract. I was told yes. So, I signed up. Now 4 months into the contract the off-peak has been changed to 10:00pm-5:59am. I have no use for the phone but to get out of the contract would cost almost as much as the duration of the contract. This was a selling point. Now I think it is fraud- colusion between Axin and WW. Do not, I repeat, do not sign up with Worldcom Wireless. I am considering turning it over to the Ohio Attorney General's fraud division.

#1 UPDATE Employee

service agreement

AUTHOR: jon - ()

POSTED: Monday, March 04, 2002

when you signed up for service, hopefully you signed some form of documentation as to what you were to be receiving. The reason that wireless services have you sign the agreement is because things like this change. On your service agreement would state how long you have your free evening and weekends and for how long. i would urge you to bring that to the attention of the supervisor of the rep you speak with. You may have suggest getting a fax number and each month fax your bill over for the adjustments to be added. but its better than paying the bill to cancel or carrying around a phone you cant use.
good luck
