Worldmark By Wyndham Casablanca Express-Time Share Company sign up & if you change your mind...cancel..but we did and they have still billed us for the last 4months saying we never cancelled. Indio California

So they get you there for this Time Share meeting which you thought was just for fun since you "apparently" won this trip...... They get a bit aggitated when you don't sign up passing you onto 4 different persuasive sales people until you just sign up to shut them up,knowing you can cancel w/in the week and go on to enjoy the so called winning vacation!!!

You get back...fax the cancellation as directed to and even call to see if they received it(which they did)..then go about your merry day. A month or so passes and you notice a reacurring charge which you first thought was the payment you made as a guarantee to the resort incase you didn't show....when it appears again you get a wee suspicious and call to hear them welcome you as "Time-share Owners"!

It isn't the shock of being a new home -owner and losing a few hundred bucks so far it's the agonising realization that the charges will keep coming each month and that you just threw out your confirmed & received cancellation letter!

We called several people and were handed over to over 8 people in over an hour explaining our situation which no one wanted to claim,handle or resolve...."Sorry...we didn't get your cancellation letter!.....maybe you faxed it to us when we hadn't even entered you in our data base or system??? sorry there's nothing we can do.."

What the hell do you do then???
Can anyone help????
We are getting married in 8 weeks.....decided to cancel the day after b/c we couldn't afford the program and now they're not even returning our calls... somebody tell me there's a lawyer or someone that can help...this is crazy. We are idiots for throwing out the faxed letter BUT you think when you send a fax AND call to see they got it it's enough?

How to get Worldmark to correct your billing.

If you have a problem with Billing I suggest you contact Peggy Fry, who is Director
of owner services at Worldmark by Wyndham. Many people at WMowners.com have her email address. Also dispute with your credit card as unauthorized charge.

Also if your interested in buying into Worldmark by Wyndham, never by it in a retail sales presentation. Always by it online-resale for .40 cents on the dollar. I have been an owner for 4 years. Worldmark will also let you recoup your annual dues
by going on owner up date presentaions at $50 a pop, (limited to one every 30 days). They also allow you extra free nights (Friends First), if you bring your friends to a presentation at the resort (then you tell them to buy it resale). Then you can get an unlimited amount of extra days with Bonus time. Last year I used 30 days of bonus time. You can get a 2 Bedroom 2 bath Condo in Lake Tahoe, Big Bear for $30 per night mid week in December before xmass.

Do you have the proof that the fax went through - like a return receipt? If so, that should be dated, and if that is the case, I would make a copy of that and the fax you sent them, and mail it. That shows you followed the contract in terms of cancelling.
