Worldwide Fidelity Investments Employment Ripoff Internet

I was contacted last week by a Mr. Andrew Borelli (or said he was) from Worldwide Fidelity Investments by instant message originally and later email; stating they had reviewed my resume on "The Ladders". I was later interviewed via IM for over an hour by this individual. Other than being conducted on IM--every step seemed legitimate. I was offered the position of Payroll Administrator via IM and email. I received a "Welcome to the Family" IM from a Mr.Sylvester Wright (again or said he was). I was told that this was a 6-7 hour per day position including a 4 day 4 hour per day training period. I asked about benefits, employment agreement and so forth. They were very detailed with their descriptions but glossed quickly over the employment agreement stating that it would arrive with my startup software. They went on to state that the startup software would be purchased "up front" by me for a fee of $550.00 and those funds would then be reimbursed to me along with my first payroll. I have never had to purchase equipment/software in order to work for anyone in the past and was very sceptible of needing to now. They were insistent that I needed to submit the payment immediately (by wire/debit card/credit card) in order to start training asap. As they contacted me on a weekend I stated that I would have to transfer some funds from one bank to another prior to paying and they were agreeable to that but still insistent that I needed to do this asap. While waiting for my payment they sent me two additional "pre-training" projects to complete; basically a short word project on finances and communication. I did complete and send those back while I was still attempting to reach someone at "The Ladders" to research if this company was legitimate or if this was truly a scam. I finally reached someone late in the week and ascertained that it was indeed a scam. I had failed to respond to any messages/emails from these people for approximately 10 hours and they became very nasty. Nasty worded messages for not paying them and "wasting" their time by "playing them". By evening they had sent me 71 IM messages all saying "You Are A B****** F***Y**" and listing my name, address, email address and telephone number. These are very nasty people---I actually fear for my safety. I urge anyone being contacted by them to hang up immediately. I wish there were legal avenues to follow to force these people to shut d
