I signed a contract with Worldwide Tracers on August 17th, 2010. I spoke with Kirk  Rutherford on the phone many times before that, and he seemed like a very nice gentalmen. I also did some research on the company on Youtube and former scam reports. But, I said hey, If this company has been on national T.V., they couldn't possibly be a scam. Well, 9 months later I have personally found out myself.
    First, they never notified me of my update as they say they will after a number of days. I had to contact them by email, because after they know your name and phone number, they won't answer their phone nor call you back. So, they sent a email, to me and said I needed to petition the court.
I never got an update. Then, when I finally talked to an associate, they said that was an update. What a scam. It was a chain letter saying they didn't get any further info, so I must petition.
   Well, I finally got my Petition letter from my Doctor, and mailed and faxed the original letter First Class, Overnight which cost me 32.00 bucks on April 19, 2011. Thats only 8 months in the case, and they promised to work on it for 2 years. It is now at the end of May and they haven't answered their phone and I have left  over 10 messages on their phone. I have called them every hour and the machine always says that they are busy and leave a message , an they will call back. If you are having the same problems with this company, Please listen to me, don't hire this company for anything. Don't waste your time with Kirk and a Petition letter. They won't follow threw.
   This is what I did, I called a company called Kinsolving and they solved my case in 11 days. Seriously. I am blowing the whistle on this scaming Company. It took 11 days, what Worldwide Tracers still couldn't do in 9 months, not 2 years. Through Kinsolving I have already Contacted my Birth father, but I still wanted to Petition the court to release all my information. And Kirk Rutherford has not followed threw with his contract.
   Don't be fooled by his christain mannerism, and that they found other peoples families. Thats just it..... Thats why they are a scam.... They have solved other caseses. So, they use that as a way to scam and rip-off all the suckers who give them money up front, and Then they set your papers on a desk and wait for you to send more money for petition advice. And then do nothing. Don't deal with this company no more. I am furious, and mad as h**l at this company.

Kirk didn't show his first emails about his Mistakes, Did he?

Listen, future consumers....... After I recieved an email stating that he was going thru family health issues, I responded like wise, because I felt sorry for him, and I tried to let by-gones be by-gones. But he doesn't realize, that I had already wriiten the report.  I never would think a reasonable person would ever put a clients email for the world to see, but thats who you would be dealing with if you hire this GUY. Here is what he said, You be the judge:

I'm sorry Ivan... I have just been really overwhelmed with everything that has
happened recently with both my mother and father and then letting Monda go was
no walk in the park. Ironically, the reason I got rid of her was because she
never got back with anyone and simply was not doing her job. And just like you,
everyone was all over my a*s, and rightly so. I've been doing the best I can
under the circumstances, it's just hard for others to understand unless you're
under the same pressure. I try and put myself in others shoes, but when I'm
having a rough time of it, it's hard for me to be patient and understanding.

Can we just move on? Mariel is working on your petition this weekend. She will
get it to you either Monday or Tuesday. Please email me if you have questions.
Right now Ivan, it's hard for me to call people because I am so overwhelmed with
work. When I get on the phone I end up talking too long. So please understand
that email is better for me right now.

Thank you Ivan and again my sincere apology. (I wonder which client had "the
ladies man" voice mail that I left your message on??)

So, as you can see, Kirk apologized first for he's non- communication with not only me but other clients as well. He even went further and said I was rightly so to be mad. What a guy. So if someone told you that they've been having problems at work and with family health issues, How would you respond? I was a perfect gentlemen and told him I was sorry to, and tried to move on. I told him I would seek professional help, and he said go right ahead. So, I had already written this report before we made up. Then, he got all crazy with me after he read what I typed earlier.
So, ther you have it. Kirk Rutherford not only appoligzed Once, But Twice. And yes, I even tried using other peoples phone to get thru, But he still avoided me. What if I was a future client trying to hire him for my research? But, No.... Kirk is a smart man, he knew it was me trying to get a hold of him. He even stated here on rebuttal, that he knew I was calling him. Would you hire a guy like that?  And guess what? I only was trying to find out if he recieved my Original Doctors letter. Thats all. And for almost 4 weeks, he couldn't leave a messege on the phone or just answer his. I also take offense of he's carelessness of the word " Sitting Bull ". My Great Grandmother was 100% Native American, and I am a Professional Boxer with the ring name of Ivan " Sitting Bull " Stovall. So, you would guess that if he was an Investigator, he should of known that, becuase my name is all over the Internet. What does that tell you? I rest my case. Don't waste your time on a guy who doesn't even know the backround of his OWN Client.

Here's an email I received from Ivan. Just to preface, we were putting together a petition for Ivan and we told him we needed a doctor's letter. He was told that once we get the letter it would take about 3 weeks to put the petition together. From the moment I got his doctor's letter, Ivan started calling. Before I could even return a call, he would call back and back and back. In the email he wrote below you'll see that he says that he called 20 times a day... and also a little strange is that he refers to himself as "sitting bull". Even though we finished his petition, I have grave reservations about putting this man with this much anger and insecurity together with a birthmother. But you decide, here's one of his emails:

Kirk, I thought you were a honest guy, but it seems that you have taken my nice-ness for weekness. You or your companys employee's have not called me back or have not left a single message on my phone. You still have not answered my question. Why haven't you answered any of my calls? Just remember, I have phone records showing that I have called you more than 20 times each day for the last 2 weeks. Come on, you guys used to answer my calls in the past. But now, since I have paid Twice, Not One, Not a Single answer from your staff. Is that the way to treat a customer?
 I take finding my family very seriously, but it seems to me that you never did. And God as my witness, you never stated that you would take longer than 4 weeks to reply to me about pettitioning the court. I sent you my original Doctor's letter first class, and called you the next day. And guess what? No answer for 4 weeks that you even received it.
 You tell me to have pateints, and Trust me I have had alot of patients. But to ignore me every single time I call for the last month, is beyond that. I just want to let you know, that in order to have good customer service, there must be more communication. I am sad that I can't help the ones that have already paid for their search, But I am happy that I can help the future ones that haven't.

After finding out today that Ivan had filed this ROR, I obviously became angry with him. When I expressed my anger he wrote this back:

He thinks this is funny... unfortunately I would be very hesitant to put this man together with his birthmother. I shutter to think what he will tell her.

Now, Ivan decided to forget about the petition and pay Chris Lee $3,500 to locate his birthmother. Ivan is out there... calls me 20 times a day, calls himself "sitting bull", talks about his parents "abandoning him" and "now everyone is doing me wrong".... I became Ivan's whipping post because of how he feels about being "abandoned", I became the fixation of his anger because I was searching for his birthmother. This is not the first time this has happened. Had we located Ivan's birthmother, I can promise that I would have completed a background investigation on Ivan before giving any contact information to him. I suspect, after 27 years as an investigator, that there may be some negative things in Ivan's past that were related to his anger due to abandonment issues. It is a sad case, but I'm thankful that I am not liable for the results of a reunion. Kirk Rutherford
