Worthy.com is very deceptive.  I had a diamond ring that was appraised by a certified gemologist, and I decided to give Worthy a shot. I entered in the description of color, quality, etc. of the diamond. I received an email that my ring would bring me between $3500 and $4500 and hundreds of buyers were eagerly awaiting the arrival of my ring.  After being handled very unprofessionally I still gave Alva the benefit of the doubt and sent my ring. What a mistake and huge waste of time.  I was promised a grading report, never happened, I was promised an auction that never happened, I asked for an explanation, that too never happened. Every person I spoke to had no idea of the particulars of my item. I had concerns of dismounting my antique diamond ring, and requested to speak to somebody who had knowledge of my ring, as they had supposedly inspected it.  Again, nobody  could give me specific answers to my questions.  This was a total waste of time, every promise they made was broken. My ring is being sent back now, and as soon as it arrives I will bring it back to the gemologist to check to see if these liars switched it out. The communjication is terrible, and I want to let other people know that this is a huge mistake.  Worthy is not your answer. and they care nothing about you. My representative was Alva, who when asked about particulars on the value of my piece she went on to list possible reasons for the low value, but could not tell me specifically which one it was. She is a joke.
