WPI Ifriends credit card scam, no more than common thieves. Internet

I have begun to notice WPI Ifriends payments on my credit card statement & this has been happening for the past three months, The payments getting larger every month. I have never bought products or services from WPI Ifriends & I have no idea as to how they came to have my credit card details.

We apologize for any misimpression that Darryl may have about our services and our company. He in fact did purchase some services from our company, and dhortly after posting the above complaint, Darryl contacted our Customer Care Center. We were able to locate his account at that time, and the representative with whom Darryl spoke explained the charges and verified that the account had been cancelled. Darryl indicated that he was satisfied with this resolution. At no time did Darryl indicate that he wished to be refunded for any charges that he incurred.
Our transaction records indicate that the account in question was created using Darryl's personal information, including credit-card number, mailing address, email address, and IP address. This information was verified by MasterCard at the time the account was created. The standard iFriends membership carries no charge. However, the charges mentioned by Darryl were for enrollment in the premium VIP membership, which does carry a monthly charge. This type of membership was chosen at the time of signup. All charges are clearly and conspicuously disclosed, and the user creating the account must give his affirmative consent via multiple click-throughs before premium services can be accessed.
We have refunded the charges that were billed to Darryl and have notified him of this. If he has any remaining questions or concerns, a Customer Care manager will be happy to discuss these with him.
