I signed up for a one time trial, I was never able to access the site and forgot about it. A month ago I noticed i was being charged 9.95/monthly. I never approved recurring payments.

I even went back to the site and cancelled and then again this month there it was. This site is stealing money from allot of honest people. And I cannot get them to stop. I want all my money back and don't want to be charged again.

This is ridiculous. There are over ten reports for this website alone. You obviously need to change something huh??

Since becoming aware of the above RipOffReport complaint, we have been in contact with Corey and the matter has been resolved to his satisfaction. Prior to the complaint being posted, we had received no contact from Corey, and he had not requested cancellation of his account. Because customer service is our number one priority, we have issued refunds for the charges in question. Should there be any further questions or concerns, he can contact our Customer Support Department 24/7 at (800) 243-9726. Our toll-free telephone number is posted prominently next to every charge on every credit card bill a customer receives. Additionally, a link to telephone and email contact information is provided on every page of the website.

Our transaction records indicate that the account in question was created using Corey's personal information, including credit-card number, mailing address, email address, and IP address. The foregoing information was independently verified using records supplied by Visa/Mastercard, as well as by internet IP-address registries.

Regarding the substance of the complaint, the scenario presented in Corey's report is not one that realistically could have occurred on our web site. We offer several different types of memberships, none of which is a trial membership program. While the standard iFriends membership carries no charge, the charges mentioned by Corey were for additional premium services requested by Corey. The membership in which Corey opted to enroll included the recurring fees mentioned in his report. All charges incurred by Corey on the account were clearly and conspicuously disclosed in advance. No customer could incur charges as specified in Corey's complaint without advance disclosure of such charges and numerous multiple click-throughs by the customer to indicate his acknowledgement and affirmative consent to such charges. We also provide extensive FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to aid our customers in using the iFriends website, and our customer service representatives are always happy to offer support.
