WPI*IFRIENDS INTERNET Recurring charges to my credit card of 9.95. Not Known internet, Nationwide

I am having a charge posted to my credit card of 9.95 monthly. I understand that this is a site with a very bad reputation. I was hooked by a software download.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I paid that first 9.95, but I know it was only to be a one time charge.

The iFriends service is an online web conferencing (video chat) community. We do not offer software downloads. Mark may be confusing us with another company.
Because Mark did not provide very many individual details, we were not able to locate an iFriends account associated with his complaint. We strongly urge Mark to contact us directly so that we can resolve the situation he has described. The toll-free number is 1-800-243-9726. Customer Care representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Mark mentions a monthly charge of $9.95. He may be referring to a charge associated with the premium iFriends Elite membership. In order to have this level of membership, the member must affirmatively act to upgrade from the regular free membership. All charges are clearly disclosed in advance. Again, we encourage Mark to contact us directly so that we may ascertain whether Mark has an account with our service and can make any necessary changes to the account, including refunds and cancellation if that is what Mark desires.
