I first got on ifriends.com and payed the amount to talk to people via webcam. After everything was done I paid all fees and never got back on the site.

On May 15, 2009 I was going over my expenses and saw that ifriends.com had charged another $243.78 to my account without me even accessing their site, or giving them consent to charge my account again.

I read over the terms and agreements and nowhere did it say that I would be charged from the site without actually getting on a webcam and chatting. I will follow all legal actions in order to get my money back.

We apologize for any confusion that Gto-stewie may have experienced as a result of the timing of the charge to his credit card.

As he states in his report, Gto-stewie only accessed the iFriends service on the day that he initially created the account. He chose to access both free and pay-per-view areas of the service. The majority of the resulting charges were approved by his financial institution; however, the $243.78 that he mentions was not immediately approved. This charge was finally approved on May 15, and posted to Gto-Stewie's account on that day. However, the charge was in fact connected with his initial usage of his iFriends account, and was not a new charge.

If Gto-stewie has any questions or concerns, or would like to discuss his account, we invite him to call our Customer Care department directly. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by calling 1-800-243-9726.

We have been in business for 14 years, and we have more than 9 million satisfied customers. We have consistently maintained excellent ratings with all leading consumer protection agencies. In addition, we have pioneered and developed online consumer best practices that have been adopted by many other services. The iFriends service is verified by TRUSTe and is on its sealholder list of the most trustworthy online businesses.
