Dear Jessica Oman /Wrinkly Paws

5208 township rd FindlayOhio45840 (419)889-9932 Wrinklypaws@live.com

In retrospect, I dont regret not purchasing your black 6 week old toy sharpie puppy yesterday 1/22/11. Although you feel I insulted youre breeding ethics, to clarify I disagree with you. However I do feel that you dishonesty misrepresented the condition of the dog, which was very poor in my opinion.

1. You stated the dog was seen by your vet at 5 weeks of age and was giving a clean bill of health, and his first set of shots. (Dogs dont benefit shots prior to 8 weeks of age).

2. He was clearly in distress with eczema all over his body (typically a Vet prescribes medicated shampoo to correct this problem). At the last minute you disclosed to me his condition, and stated you were treating him with an over the counter product that was clearly not working for him). Additionally he had a cold in his right eye that you stated was due to the irritants of the shampoo which takes me back to your not using the right shampoo to fix his problem.

3. He had sizable open wounds on his legs and lower body that in your own words were infected. This condition you disclosed to me after I had driven 7 hours to meet you at the Wal-Mart in Akron, Ohio, with your husband, Matt. This condition was also one you stated you were self medicating him for with over the counter Neosporin, (not a Vet prescribed antibiotic intended for animals). You additionally said to me while sitting in my car with said 6 week old puppy, that you were leaving me with oral antibiotics to treat the infection. Obviously not prescribed for him or that condition since he went to the vet days prior, and you only noticed his injuries that morning which saddens me.Your explanation was that he had become a play toy to his sibling.Maybe its just me, but I would have put the sibling in time out and/or completely separated them days prior, especially if I were asking $2,000.00 for the dog and had projected at least 3 weeks prior that his delivery date to me was to be on that date because of my childrens school scheduled closing for 1/24/11.

4. On numerous occasions I questioned the photos you sent me.He appeared to lack facial hair.Upon meeting him in person, he did indeed. Not only did he lack fur on his face but his entire body was missing fur.Splotches of fur were missing every where. There were no hair follicles on many of his bald spots which would imply this problem would not correct itself, and that the bald spots will be permanent,

and only get larger in time.

5. Lastly you had no documentation, no Vet receipts, no shot record, nor health certificate to prove he had ever been seen by a licensed Veterinarian, nothing, not even documentation on what he had been de-wormed with. I can understand you not having the health certificate. You were selling him to me at 6 weeks of age which is illegal, therefore, you would not be granted a health certificate at that age. But you also said that the state of Ohio never issues them which is incorrect; they are required by law when selling/transporting out of state.

6. Although you are taken back by my criticism, I dont feel that you properly disclosed his poor condition, and had no right asking $2,000 dollars for him. And to make the comment had I changed my mind, thatat that point you wouldnt have sold him to a person like me was either your way of covering your a*s, or you were being prejudice.

In closing, in front of my son, in my car yesterday, with said puppy, you promised to return my full deposit of $500.00. I will hold you to that. You are not the professional reputable breeder that you think you are. And I would think that your reputation means a lot to you.

Sincerely,

Her word means nothing, she's keeping my deposit

So she has decided to not return my deposit. Her word means nothing. BUYER BEWARE. Again the puppy was under age, mutilated, and sickly. No papers, no Vet documentation, very unprofessional, poor breeder ethics. AGAIN BUYER BEWARE!
