Like everyone else, I thought I was only ordering a free sample of the Wu-Yi tea "as seen on Oprah". I followed the link that appeared on Facebook home page. I only authorized the company to charge the shipping of $2.95 to my credit card.

For the past four months, I have been receiving this fake product and being charged to my Visa. The 800 number listed on my credit card statement and the bottle are never answered and go immediately to a hold message with music saying they are experiencing technical difficulies. When you try to contact them to cancel and request a refund via the email address provided, it comes back undeliverable. When you attempt to go directly to their website, you get a redirect message that never gets linked to another site.

I tried to dispute the charges with my Orchard Bank VISA and they tell me they can't not pay the merchant because I authorized the charges for auto-ship. I attempted to explain to the bank that this company is obviously running an internet scam but the bank refused to stop the incoming charges without proof that I had cancelled. Which, of course, is impossible because, well the merchant wants it to be impossible.

There are two products flying around the internet claiming that each is a fraud. As far as I know they are both fraudulent one just a cover up for the other. When I contact www.wu-yi.com and spoke with someone there, they transfered me to a recording that referred back to all the bad contact info at wu-yi source.com.

Why haven't these people been shut down?
