This is horrible!!! I signed up for a free trail of Wu-Yi source tea, which rolled over to a membership. I saw the charge for Wu-Yi, then I saw a charge on my account for $19.95 for lw/living lean las vegas NV.

I had no idea what that was so I called my bank. No information came into the bank besides what I saw from my online account. So I googled living lean and found a site called (((Redacted))). Which proceeded to explain that this charge resulted from my signing up for a free trail of Wu-Yi tea. I never signed up for living lean??

I called Living lean (1-866-396-5711), they refunded only one charge of two. I asked them what is this?? Answered as some kind of weight loss site, which is probably not real anyway. They could not send me a confirmation email about canceling but did send an email about a refund confirmation for one fee. The name of the company on the refund confirmation email was then listed as Raven Media.

On the third phone call to them they told me that the refund email is the same as a cancellation email under this agreement. We will see. Unfortunately I did not pay attention last month and I was charged $19.95, which resulted in an overdraft fee of $31 to my account. They did nothing.

I called the bank, which informed me if I cancel my card I could still receive refunds; they just can't take anything out, so I canceled it to prevent any more unauthorized charges. Going to the bank tomorrow to dispute the other charge and overdraft fee.

I then decided to read the terms and conditions on Wu-Yi source tea website. In the fine print about half way down I found this gem:

For so long as your Membership remains active, the Monthly Fee will accrue on the first of each new month, and you will be required to pay the Monthly Fee for that month's membership.

You hereby authorize Wu-Yi Source (or its partners, affiliates and/or agents) to charge your Active Credit Card all such fees associated with Membership on a monthly basis. You acknowledge and agree that Wu-Yi Source will not obtain additional authorization from you for each installment of Monthly Fees charged to your Active Credit Card. All Monthly Fees are payable in United States currency. Failure to use the Products received does not constitute a basis for refusing to pay any of the associated charges.

You agree to be bound by the pricing and billing practices of Wu-Yi Source in effect at any given time. Upon prior written notice to you (with e-mail sufficing), Wu-Yi Source reserves the right to change its pricing and/or billing practices whenever necessary, in its sole discretion. I

f you do not agree with these changes, you may cancel your Membership at any time, but you will remain responsible for timely payment of any and all Monthly Fees that you have already incurred (including any applicable late fees). Continued acceptance of Online Products and use of Membership after receipt of such notice shall constitute consent to any and all such changes.

So does this mean they can give your number to any site they feel like sharing it with and you getting all kinds of products and subscription fees?? Looks like it might be a must to cancel any card number given to these trustworthy people who state on the site in their own words Beware! of Scam Weight-Loss Solutions!!!

I really like the one sentence saying failure to use the products received does not constitute a basis for refusing to pay any of the associated charges, so what could they not charge you for? I thought I was just getting a membership fee for tea and not whatever they could dream up. I thought that membership in the terms and conditions for the site meant only for the tea site, what do they consider it to be? Lesson learned no more free trails for anything ever again!!
